Parent Questions
What time is drop-off and collection?
Drop-off is from 9:15am for a 9:30am start, and collection is at 3:00pm from Wheaton Aston Sports and Social Club. Please let us know in advance if someone other than the named adult is collecting your child.
What should my child bring?
A packed lunch and drinks bottle, suitable sportswear and trainers (plus boots if they have them), a warm layer and waterproof jacket for October weather, and any medication they may need during the day. Please label everything.
Is food provided?
No — children bring their own packed lunch and drinks. There is a morning break and a lunch break built into the day.
Does my child need football or cricket experience?
No. The camp is designed for all abilities and every session is adapted so beginners and experienced players get the same benefit. Confidence and mindset matter more than skill level here.
How many children are in the group?
Places are capped at 16 for the ages 10–13 camp so every child gets attention, is known by name and gets plenty of contact time.
Who will be looking after my child?
Sessions are led by Jon Jenkins, who holds enhanced DBS checks through the FA and ECB and Level 3 Safeguarding. Jessica Jenkins is our Safeguarding Lead, holds an enhanced DBS through the ECB and is Safe Hands safeguarding trained.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The day runs in most weather with the timetable adapted as needed, and indoor space is available at the venue. If we ever have to cancel a camp ourselves, you receive a full refund.
What if my child has a medical need, allergy or additional need?
You can tell us everything we need to know on the booking form — medical conditions, allergies, medication and any additional needs. If you'd like to talk it through first, message us before booking and we'll make sure the day works for your child.
How much is it and how do I pay?
£25 per child, paid securely online at the time of booking. Your place is confirmed once payment goes through.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our full cancellation terms are set out on the Booking Terms page. If your plans change, get in touch as early as you can and we'll do what we can to help.
Still unsure about something? Message us — no question is too small before you book.
